Used Kettle equipment

Kettles
Industrial kettles are used for uniform heating, cooking, and/or mixing of batches of product. Most industrial kettles are equipped with a steam jacket to use heat from the steam as the cooking source. Kettles can be powered by steam, gas, or electricity. Agitators are used to keep product heated evenly and thoroughly. When purchasing a kettle, size, heat source, pressure rating, and agitator style are important considerations. Special Projects International offers used kettles from well-known manufacturers like APV, Cherry-Burrell, Groen, Hamilton, Hicks, Hubbert, JC Pardo, Lee, Letco Inc., L&A Engineering, Mueller, Pfaudler, Vendome, Vulcan, Walker, and more. The types of kettles we offer are categorized and described below.

Hemispherical Bottom Kettle
Industrial kettles with hemispherical bottoms are designed specifically for mixing. Usually, hemispherical bottom kettles have a jacketed body to act as a heat source making for more efficient mixing. Hemispherical bottom kettles are often used in the food processing, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

Processor Kettle
Processor kettles are designed for processes where product needs to be heated evenly throughout. To achieve this, processor kettles are usually equipped with agitators and/or a pressurized steam jacket.
