Wrapping Machines
Wrapping machines are used in a variety of different industries for pre-storage, pre-sale, and pre-distribution purposes. Automatic Shrink Wrapping Machines
Automatic shrink wrappers are machines that consist of a sealer and a heat source to apply heat to the shrink wrap. The sealer is responsible for closing the open ends of the shrink film, and the heat source applies heat to make the thermos-sensitive wrapping shrink down to the product. These machines consist of infeed and exit conveyors (sometimes a single conveyor) which need to be loaded and unloaded as the line is in process.

Horizontal Flow Wrapping Machine
Horizontal flow wrappers wrap products by transferring film from a cylindrical film roll through the forming collar. At the same time, a conveyor lines up individual products for wrapping. The film that is fed through the collar wraps around the product, is sealed, and then finally cut. The finished product then moves downstream to the next step in the process line. Horizontal flow wrapping machines are commonly used to wrap frozen products, produce, snacks, bakery goods, cheese and dairy, and pet and animal food.

Stretch Wrapping Machine
Turntable stretch wrapping machines consist of a rotating base table which the load is placed upon to be spun relative to the film roll. The film roll is housed in a carriage and can move up and down a fixed mast. The film stretches as the turntable rotates faster than the film is fed. These machines are commonly found in warehouses to wrap pallets and other large loads.

Overwrapping Machine
Overwrappers are machines that take a length of heat sealable film from a roll and fold it around a product. These machines can wrap a single item or a bundle of items. The thermo-sensitive folded film is then closed by a heat source. Overwrapping machines are commonly used to wrap meats, to provide a tamper indicating seal, to keep an item like a magazine clean and intact during shipment, or to combine two or more smaller packages into a larger multi-pack. Another example of a product packaged by an overwrapping machine is a new deck of playing cards.

Shrink Bundler
Shrink bundlers are machines used to tightly package a product. These machines consist of a single sealing bar that closes to seal and cut the film. The single bar is air operated to open and close as products pass through the sealer. The single seal leaves open ends on each side of the package called “bulls-eyes.” Shrink bundlers are well-suited for distribution packaging in the food and beverage, dairy, personal care and cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.
