Used Vibratory Screener and Sifter equipment

Screeners and Sifters
Screens, sifters, and sieves are industrial machines designed to take granulated feed material and separate it into various grades by particle size. These machines are used throughout the pharmaceutical, food, plastics, chemical industries and more. Special Projects International offers new and used screening and sifting equipment from well-known manufacturers like Andritz, AZO, Derrick, Gump, Kason, Macon, Midwestern, Rotex, Sweco, and more. The types of screening and sifting equipment we offer are listed and described below.

Centrifugal Screeners
Centrifugal screeners, also called centrifugal sifters, rotary sifters, or rotary screeners, are a type of industrial screening machine used to process a wide range of free-flowing material such as powders, agglomerates, and granules. These screeners are equipped with paddles inside the body that drive particles through the screens. The unique centrifugal action and flexible screen fabric make centrifugal screeners ideal for processing materials that contain high amounts of moisture, fat, or oil. Centrifugal screeners are often used to handle bulk chemicals, minerals, plastics, foods, dairy products, pharmaceuticals, and other materials ranging from dry bulk solids to solids-laden slurries.

Circular Shaker Screeners
Circular shakers screeners, also called circular vibratory screeners/sieves, are manufactured in a variety of deck sizes and mesh options to meet specific screening/sieving needs. These shakers use a motor and eccentric weight attached to the sifting assembly to vibrate the screens. Circular shaker screeners are used to separate coarse and fine particles from bulk materials such as minerals, sand, and abrasives. These machines are commonly found in the pharmaceutical, food, mineral, and mining industries.

Rectangular Shaker Screeners
Rectangular shaker screeners have a similar working principle to circular shaker screeners and offer the same customizable features like footprint and mesh size. These machines separate granulated material into various grades by size. The rectangular shaker screener is commonly found in the pharmaceutical, food, plastics, and chemical industries.

Trommel Screener
Trommel screeners, also known as rotary screeners, are mechanical screening machines used to separate feed materials using a perforated cylindrical drum that is normally elevated at an angle at the feed end. The undersized particles pas through the cylindrical screen and collect in a tray, while the oversized material exits at the other end of the drum. Trommel screeners are often used in wastewater, mineral processing, food, and municipal waste industries.

Other
Special Projects International also offers new and used spare parts for screening and sifting equipment. We offer circular screens and circular decks and frames.
